Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that occurred in the evening hours of May 18.
Authorities say the collision happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Barton Street and McNeilly Road in Stoney Creek and involved an eight-year-old girl who was struck while riding her scooter.
At the time, the girl’s injuries were believed to be serious. Since then, investigators have confirmed that she sustained minor injuries.
Officers are working to identify the maroon pickup truck and trailer involved in the collision.
