Hamilton Police inspect child car seats

A surprising government survey finds only about 40 percent of children ride in properly installed and fitting booster seats.

That number was only 12 percent in a couple of places in Hamilton and Burlington though.

To raise awareness of the problem – and better improve the safety of kids in cars – this evening Hamilton Police set up a pullover lane where they inspected cars, and sent moms and dads over for a second inspection when they found children on board.
