Hamilton police say they have identified what they believe is a secondary crime scene involved in the death of Taranpreet Singh Sidhu from Brampton.

The 29-year-old truck driver was found dead in a culvert in the north end of Fruitland Road in Stoney Creek on July 15.

Officers say that the evidence suggests that Sidhu was killed in Brampton in an area associated with the trucking industry, and then his body was moved to the Stoney Creek Area.

A police spokesperson says they are not in a position to release any suspect information or a vehicle description at this time.

Police did not say what the cause of death is at this time, as the investigation remains ongoing.

Investigators say Sidhu immigrated to Canada from India in 2022, and lived in Brampton and Halifax while working as a truck driver.
