Hamilton Police dogs visit Mac Kids

Patients at McMaster Children’s Hospital got a special visit from some fluffy friends today.

The Hamilton Police canine unit made their annual visit to McMaster Children’s Hospital, teaching patients and their parents about police dogs and how they serve the community.

Ariana, 14, “learned that they have special trucks and things that have automatic heaters and cooling systems in them.”

The dogs have helped Hamilton Police track criminals and sniff out illegal materials.
