Hamilton Police board wants public input on stun guns

The Hamilton Police Services Board is looking for the public’s input on expanding the use of stun guns to front-line officers.

The board wants to know the public’s thoughts on expansion, conditions attached to stun gun taser use and how officers should be trained.

A public meeting will be held December 10th from 5 to 8 pm at Hamilton City Hall. Deputations will be limited to five minutes in length. To make a deputation, please email Police Board Administrator Lois Morin or phone 905-546-2727. In addition, written submissions may be provided by email.
