Several people have been quarantined in Russia’s Siberia after a lab worker at a plague research institute got sick and died.
All the information around the 28-year-old woman’s death hasn’t been disclosed.
What we do know is that health authorities are attributing the death to pneumonia with an unknown cause.
Russian media is reporting the woman fell ill while at work on Sept. 30. Two days later, she died in hospital.
Reports suggest there was an accident at the lab, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
The World Health Organization is asking Russia for more details on the death.
