Woman, 49, charged in fatal Hamilton motorcycle crash last month

Hamilton police have charged a 49-year-old woman in connection with a two-vehicle collision that killed a 33-year-old motorcycle driver last month.
The crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. on May 12 at the intersection of Upper Wentworth St. and Stone Church Rd. East.
Officers say a Honda motorcycle travelling northbound collided with a Chevrolet van travelling southbound on Upper Wentworth St.

The Hamilton man driving the motorcycle was taken to hospital, where he later died.
The Hamilton woman driving the Chevrolet was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say Wednesday that the Hamilton woman has been charged with careless driving causing death.
