Police say a 24-year-old motorcycle driver has died in hospital following a “serious” two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in Oakville.
Officers say the crash happened at the intersection of Dundas St. West and Hospital Gate shortly before 11 a.m. when a black Acura and red Ducati motorcycle collided.
Paramedics transported a Milton man driving the motorcycle to hospital where he later died.
ROAD CLOSURE
Dundas Street West in Oakville is closed westbound at Third Line and Eastbound at Postmaster.
Hospital Gate is also closed to southbound traffic.
This is for a collision investigation and expected to be closed for several hours.

Dundas St. West was closed westbound at Third Line and eastbound at Postmaster Dr., but has since reopened. A road closure affecting southbound traffic on Hospital Gate is also no longer in effect.
Police’s collision reconstruction unit is now investigating.
