Police have arrested a 48-year-old Hamilton man in connection with a shooting that occurred in March at a Brantford motel.
On March 13 shortly after midnight, authorities received a report of a shooting at a motel located in the area of Colborne Street and Locks Road.
Police later determined that a man and woman arrived at the motel before one discharged a firearm in the parking lot. The pair then left the scene in a vehicle.
No one was injured as a result of the weapon being fired.
On May 11, a search warrant was granted for a residence on Allan Avenue in Hamilton.
Two days later, officers with the Brantford Police Service and other emergency personnel executed the warrant and arrested a Hamilton man.

As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old Hamilton man stands charged with the following offences:
Investigators have not provided the name of the accused involved in this incident.
Authorities say the other suspect remains outstanding.
