Halton police are searching for four men following a Burlington home invasion in the early morning hours of May 15.
Authorities say at approximately 2:40 a.m., four men broke into a home in the area of Lakeshore and Belvenia roads. They add that one of the men used a hammer to break the door glass, allowing them entry into the home.
A woman living in the residence woke to the sound of breaking glass and was confronted by the group of men.
One man was armed with a handgun and pointed it at the victim while the rest of the group searched the home for valuables.
Cash, jewelry and other items were taken before the men fled the residence.
Officers describe the four men as all wearing hooded sweaters and face coverings. They add that the woman was not physically injured.
Investigators are asking the public for any dashcam or surveillance footage from the area between 2:20 a.m. and 3 a.m. that morning.
