Brantford police seek suspects after firearm shot in motel parking lot

Brantford police are asking for help in identifying two people after a firearm was discharged in the parking lot of a motel Friday near Colborne Street and Locks Road.

Officers say at around 12:30 a.m., two suspects arrived at the motel before one discharged a firearm. They both left the area in a vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators are looking for one female of an unknown age with dark shoulder length hair and an average or thin build. She was wearing a black low-cut top and jacket, jeans that have tearing on the thighs, and knee-length black-heeled boots.

They are also looking to identify a white man who was seen wearing black pants, a black hoodie and multi-coloured shoes.

Detectives describe the vehicle that was involved as a blue four-door GMC pickup truck, with chrome details on the grill, bumper, handles and running boards.

Police say if anyone sees them to not approach the suspects or the vehicle, as they may be armed.
