Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a Hamilton man after receiving several calls about a truck driving on three wheels in St. Catharines on New Year’s Eve.
Officers say they got calls about a pickup truck driving on three wheels and sending sparks flying at around 11:20 p.m.
The truck was reported to be Toronto-bound on the QEW near Welland Avenue in St. Catharines.

Authorities say the truck was stopped near Bartlett Avenue in Grimsby, Ont. and they arrested a 47-year-old man from Hamilton for impaired driving.
Police say the man had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.
Investigators also determined that the man’s licence had been suspended since 2001.
