Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) says they will reinstate masking in patient-care areas for staff, physicians, learners and volunteers starting Wednesday.

HHS says this change in line with Public Health Ontario‘s guidance, aims to protect patients and maintain the health of the workforce.

The clinical masking requirement may last through the peak of the respiratory season, but HHS says it is meant to be temporary.
