Hamilton GO Centre trains blocked due to immobilized freight train

Metrolinx says an immobilized freight train is causing delays along the Lakeshore West line Monday morning.

The agency says GO trains originating at Hamilton GO Centre are currently blocked.

Riders looking to head east from Hamilton are advised to go to West Harbour GO for train service or catch a bus from Hamilton GO Centre to Aldershot GO.

GO Transit says delays can be expected throughout the morning as a result.
