Hamilton duo faces drug-related charges in Caledonia

Two Hamilton residents have been arrested following an investigation in Caledonia.

Police were called to the area of Williamson Dr. shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday for reports of a suspicious vehicle.

Officers say they noticed “suspicious activity” while speaking with the people inside the car.

Police discovered illicit drugs inside the vehicle as well as an ammunition round for a firearm.

Officers also learned one of the passengers falsely identified themselves to police.

Carlton Clarke, 23, and Hassan Fajem, 23, were arrested and face drug-related charges. Clark also faces three counts of fail to comply with a release order, fail to comply with a probation order and one count each of obstruct peace officer and possession of a firearm or ammunition.

Both are scheduled to appear in a Cayuga court at a later date.
