Halton police charge Hamilton man after sexual assault in Oakville

Halton police charged a Hamilton man Monday with sexual assault following an investigation in Oakville on Dundas Street West.

Officers say a woman reported being sexually assaulted while she was at Custom Forming, a concrete contracting business at 2383 Dundas St. West.

She alleges that 58-year-old Gabriel Da Silva, who worked at the business at the time of the offence, had sexually assaulted her there.

Da Silva was arrested Monday and charged with one count of sexual assault.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
