Two local men, one local teen boy charged after trespassing at Kitchener site

Waterloo police have charged two men and a teen boy after a trespassing incident at a construction site in Kitchener Sunday afternoon.

Offices say at around 3:10 p.m., three males had climbed onto the top beam of a tower crane at a construction site in the area of King St. East and Ottawa St. South.

Investigators say they arrived at the scene and saw the males enter the 32-storey building through an opening on an upper floor.

They found the three at around 4:40 p.m., who were hiding inside a portable toilet on the 22nd floor.

A 20-year-old man from St. Catharines, a 20-year-old man from Waterdown and a 16-year-old boy from Hamilton were arrested and charged with trespassing.
