Halton district school board says part-time classes won’t work for parents or students this fall

The board of trustees with the Halton School Board are asking the Ford government to shelve one of their ‘return to school’ models for students from junior kindergarten to grade six.

They say a lack of daycare spaces could force parents, particularly mothers, to choose between going back to work or staying home.
