Glider crash kills one

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating a glider crash near Fergus.

A 46 year old pilot from Puslinch Township died when his glider crashed upside down in a field Tuesday night.

His name hasn’t been released at this time.

The Canadian National Soaring Championships are being hosted in the area this week by the York Soaring Association, but a message on the club’s website says they won’t be operating today.
