Georgetown man arrested after alleged sexual assault of teenage girl

A 28-year-old man from Georgetown, Ont. has been charged with sexual assault after an incident involving a teenage girl.

On May 25 at approximately 7:10 p.m., a girl was walking in the area of James and Draper streets when she was approached by the accused. He then started a conversation with the girl and sexually assaulted her.

On May 29, Sankalp Singh of Georgetown was arrested and charged with sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference.

Authorities say the girl did not suffer any physical injuries.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.
