Former Niagara teacher arrested for sexual assault

A former teacher with the District School Board of Niagara is facing sexual assault charges.

51-year old Robert St. Louis was scheduled to appear at a bail hearing in St. Catharines today on charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

He’s alleged to have assaulted a former female student between the years of 2008 and 2010.

St. Louis currently lives in New Brunswick where he was arrested yesterday and returned to the Niagara region by police.
