Ford~Lisi documents await release

Portions of documents detailing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s relationship with Alexander Lisi could be released as early as Thursday.

Lisi was Ford’s occasional driver before he was arrested on marijuana trafficking charges. A Superior Court Judge ruled documents that include information about Lisi’s relationship with the Mayor be released without delay. The Toronto Star has been pushing for their complete release. The paper has suggested that Ford’s relationship with Lisi is connected to a cell phone video that claims to show the Mayor smoking crack cocaine. Ford has denied those allegations.
