The federal government says condolences can be left online for former finance minister Jim Flaherty.
A government statement says the condolence messages will be printed and sent to Flaherty’s family. The government has also made a book of condolences available in the Hall of Honour on Parliament Hill.
Flaherty died suddenly on Thursday at his Ottawa condo at the age of 64. His cause of death has not yet been confirmed but there are reports he died of a heart attack. A state funeral for Flaherty will be held Wednesday in Toronto.
