Fire crews battling restaurant blaze in Crystal Beach, Ont.

Fire crews in Crystal Beach, Ont. are battling a blaze in the area of Erie Road and Cambridge Road West.

Firefighters were called to Amalfi’s restaurant around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities on scene say the fire is stubborn and crews are expected to be working for most of the day.

The Deputy Chief of the Fort Erie Fire Department says “the fire has found its way into various void spaces.”

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Officials say the cause and other details will be investigated once the fire has been safely extinguished.

No injuries have been reported.
