Fifth arrest in Motz murder

A fifth person has been arrested, in the death of 28-year old St.Catharines man Michael Motz.

Niagara police say a 16-year old St. Catharines boy made a court appearance Wednesday to face manslaughter charges.

Motz was involved in a fight July 7th and was found on the street outside a home on Cosby Street. Witnesses say he’d been thrown out of a van. He died two days later. Four other St.Catharines residents were charged with second degree murder in the case.
