Halton police will provide an enhanced police presence in the area of Burlington Beach on Saturday to help ensure public safety during a planned youth gathering.

Officers say any unsafe, disruptive or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated and could result in enforcement action.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to speak with their children and reconsider attending the area.

Police remind the community that public safety is a shared responsibility.
