About 100 striking elevator mechanics marched through the Fallsview tourist district this morning to bring attention to their two month old labour dispute, which centers around wages.

The mechanics, members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, came to Niagara Falls because of the number of hotel towers in the city. About 300 mechanics in the GTA recently went back to work to get construction projects moving again.
