Elderly pedestrian struck by vehicle, injured on Hamilton Mountain

A 91-year-old woman is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night on Hamilton Mountain.

Hamilton police say the incident happened around 8:35 p.m. in the area of Stone Church Road And Upper Wellington Street.

The woman is currently in stable condition but requires surgery for her injuries.

Police have not said if any charges will be laid but the investigation remains ongoing.
