DriveTest centres open for G2 and motorcycle road testing

Ontario’s DriveTest centres are now offering road tests for G2 and motorcycle licences.

The province is also expanding the number of locations offering commercial driver road tests.

People who need road tests are being asked to schedule an appointment.

To reduce crowding, most centres are restricting visitors by birth month.

• Aug. 4 – Aug. 8 — those born January to June
• Aug. 10 – Aug. 15 — those born July to December
• Aug. 17 – Aug. 22 — those born January to June
• Aug. 24 – Aug, 29 — those born July to December

Face coverings are required inside the DriveTest centre and during road tests, with the exception of motorcycle tests.

All people needing a road test will have their temperature checked.

The province says G licence road testing will resume in September.
