A 10-year-old boy and his family took part in a shopping spree they will never forget. Jake McKee and his family ripped through a local Toys R Us on Tuesday, grabbing every toy they could get their hands on in three minutes.

Jake suffers from a condition called Ependymoma, which causes spine and brain tumors. After countless surgeries, Jake wears a leg brace and uses a walker to get around.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation have teamed up with Toys R Us to give Jake and five other sick kids across Canada, a three minute no holds barred shopping spree. Aside from the three minute dash toy event, The Starlight Foundation helps sick kids and their families throughout the year with events to make them feel “normal” again.

All together, The McKee’s grabbed more than $2,000 worth of toys.
