Witness of fatal Dundas shooting comes forward, police confirm

Hamilton police confirm the witness to Sunday’s fatal shooting in Dundas has come forward.

Zachary Shuman, a 25-year-old from Dundas, was killed Sunday in a Governors Road parking lot at around 5 p.m.

Officers say the suspect fled in a blue Ford Edge.

Police believe Shuman and the suspect had an interaction in the Metro parking lot, a half a kilometre away from the scene of the shooting.

It remains unclear why the pair travelled down the road to the location where Shuman was killed.
