Crash on QEW sends Hamiltonian to hospital with critical injuries

A crash on the Toronto-bound QEW roads has sent an someone from Hamilton to hospital with critical injuries.
Ontario provincial police posted on X at 11:18 a.m. that a car that was disabled in a live lane at 4 a.m. was hit by a tractor trailer.

Occupant in car – 24yo from Hamilton with critical injuries. Truck driver not injured.

The post reads that the QEW/North Shore lanes have been closed due to the collision.
The occupant of the car was a 24-year-old from Hamilton.
Police say the truck driver was not injured.
OPP say they expect to reopen one left lane by noon.
