Cops call Niagara coke hub
Police are calling it a major international organized drug network, involving the trafficking of cocaine into Canada.
They say the network made an estimated $50 million in just six months, and that the Niagara region is a major hub with possible connections stretching as far as Mexico. Today 1,000 police officers were involved in simultaneous raids in 30 municipalities in Quebec, B.C. and Ontario – with Niagara Regional Police the lead agency on this side of the border.
