Closing arguments in the G20 assault case

The case of a Toronto police officer who faces criminal charges for his actions at the G20 summit three years ago is now awaiting a verdict.

Constable Glenn Weddell, an 11 year veteran of the force, was charged with assault after he was identified in a series of pictures standing over a wounded by-stander with his riot baton and shield.

Scot Urquhart was in the Toronto courtroom Wednesday morning as lawyers for the crown and defence painted very different pictures of the events.
