City issues extreme cold alert

The City of Hamilton has issued an extreme cold weather alert, as have Halton and Toronto.

Temperatures are expected to drop below -15 degrees overnight.

In Hamilton, residents who need help with emergency shelter are asked to call The Salvation Army at 905-527-2444 ext. 0. In Halton or Toronto, dial 3-1-1 for assistance.
