The Child Advocacy Centre in St Catharines is being re-named in memory of Kristen French.

The centre helps abused children navigate the criminal justice system, and allows children to be interview and examined in a more friendly atmosphere.

Kristen French was abused and murdered by Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. Kristen’s parents Doug and Donna helped spearhead the fundraising drive to build the centre, which opened its doors in 2008.
