Ian Gordon, Chair of CSIO, says the new training centre supports athletes in high performance sport in Ontario and Canada.

“We look forward to working with provincial and national team programs to welcome more high-performance athletes into the space as preparations continue for Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026 and beyond,” Gordon said.

CSIO originally moved into Mattamy National Cycling Centre after the 2025 Pan/Parapan Am Games and primarily supported provincial and national track cycling athletes at this facility.

The expanded training centre will allow CSIO to better support all high-performance athletes in Milton, the Halton Region and surrounding areas.
