CAA releases 2014 Worst Roads list

The CAA’s annual Worst Roads List is out, and there were some familiar names on top of the list.
For the third year in a row Dufferin St in Toronto was voted Ontario’s worst road; in fact Toronto had seven of the top ten.
In our region, Stanley Ave in Niagara Falls came in second while Hamilton’s Burlington Street E rounded out the top 5.

Over 1600 roads across the province were nominated this year for reasons that included both congestion and crumbling infrastructure. The CAA uses the Worst Roads campaign to encourage governments to make improvements.
