Brantford police seek Indigenous teen girl missing for a week

Brantford police are searching for an Indigenous teen girl who has been missing for a week.

Officers say 16-year-old Illyana was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on June 16 in the area of Chatham and Clarence streets.

Investigators say Illyana is approximately five-foot-five tall and has black curly hair and no tattoos. She was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, brown pants, slippers and carrying a blue grocery bag.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756-7050 and reference incident #26-23509.
