A 39-year-old Brantford man is facing child pornography charges following a police investigation that launched in February.
Brantford police carried out a search warrant at a home in the city on March 31 after receiving tips through the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and the RCMP.
Officers seized multiple computers, cellphones and electronic devices, on which they found evidence of child pornography.
Investigators say they arrested the Brantford man on June 26. He was charged with one count of accessing child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. He was held for a bail hearing.
Police believe that more people will be arrested and charges will be laid as they continue their investigation and examine the recovered devices.
Anyone with further information is asked to call Brantford police at 519-756-7050.
