OPP have charged a 60-year-old after an intimate partner-related incident at a home in Brant County.

On Tuesday, police responded to a report of an assault around 8:50 a.m.

Investigators say an argument between two people known to one another turned physical, resulting in minor injuries for one person.

The accused was arrested and charged with spousal assault and assault causing bodily harm.

The suspect was released and is scheduled to appear in Brantford at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 17.
