Inquest opens with coroner saying it was ”death by misadventure”.
Coroner Suzanne Greenaway says Amy Winehouse drank too much alcohol, adding the 27-year-old singer had voluntarily consumed alcohol and risked the consequences.
A pathologist has told the inquest that Winehouse
had consumed a “very large quantity of alcohol” and was more than five times over the legal drunk-driving limit when she died.
Winehouse, who had fought drug and alcohol problems for years, was found dead in bed at her London home on July 23.
