Bodybuilder sentenced on drug bust
A Hamilton bodybuilder has been sentenced to five years after pleading guilty to drug charges.
Reiner Ruska, who owned Herc’s Nutrition store on Upper James, pleaded guilty Friday to charges related to trafficking cocaine and anabolic steroids, as well as possessing more than $70,000 from trafficking.
Ruska was the centre of Project Newton, an 18-month multi-police agency investigation, that involved the raids of homes and businesses in 9 cities and resulted in the arrests of 21 people last year.
