Blood on the sidewalk

Updated Hamilton Police have taped off an area near Gage Park after after blood was found on the sidewalk near Gage and Cannon Street.



Investigators have been there since about 6:30 this morning after blood was found outside a home at the corner of Fairview Avenue and Highland. Video (below) shows a pool of blood down the street, and more blood in front of the house. However police don’t have a victim yet.

They are trying to find whose blood this is and how it got there. Broken glass was found on the street.

Police have taped off about a block and detectives could be seen going in and out of a home on the corner of Fairview and Highland. They’ve been talking to people who live nearby, trying to figure out what happened.
