Auchmar, The War Years

From October 1943 to November 1945, Auchmar Estate on Hamilton Mountain was transformed into a makeshift convalescent hospital for RCAF burn victims. Surviving film footage has been made into a documentary called “Auchmar, The War Years”. Film editor Jon Soyka and Diane Dent from Friends of Auchmar joined us to tell us more about it.
