Arrest in Niagara Falls robberies

A 27 year old man is in police custody after two robberies in Niagara Falls Sunday.

The first took place just after 5am at Imperial Suites on Victoria Avenue.

A clerk said he was robbed by a man who said he was carrying a gun.

Later that night, police say the same man entered a Canadian Tire gas station on Bridge Street.

Armed with a knife and wearing a balaclava he robbed that clerk and fled.
