It was three years ago today that Tori Stafford was abducted while walking home from school in Woodstock, Ont.

Stafford’s father, Rodney, says he will be spending the day with his other children, and the family will most likely visit Tori’s grave.

The eight-year-old girl’s disappearance garnered national attention as the search for her quickly ensued. But hope was lost when her remains were discovered three months after her disappearance.

The young girl was allegedly abducted, raped and murdered by Michael Rafferty and Terri-Lynne McClintic, who has already been convicted of murdering the girl. The trial for Rafferty is ongoing in London, Ont. where the court has heard some gruesome details about the last hours of Stafford’s life.
