35-year-old woman in critical condition after vehicle rollover in Milton

A 35-year-old woman has life-threatening injuries after her vehicle rolled over into a creek bed in Milton.

Halton police responded to a report of a serious collision on Limestone Rd., west of Macarthur Dr. in Milton, just after 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers say a single vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over into the stream bed.

When emergency crews arrived to the scene, they found the vehicle partially submerged on its roof with a woman in the driver’s seat.

Police entered the water to rescue the woman. She was then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains there in critical condition.

Due to the severity of the crash, the collision reconstruction unit attended the scene and are now investigating.

The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
