2 men charged in connection with 20 car break-ins across Niagara
Niagara police have arrested two St. Catharines men in connection with a series of car break-ins in the city.
Officers say there have been over 20 separate incidents of parked cars being broken into over the last month, all of which they believe to be related.
On Tuesday, two men were arrested in connection with the case and charged with 35 different offences while they were at the Niagara police station for an unrelated matter.
Following their arrest, police went on to find that they had additional stolen property on them and in their vehicle.

Officers later filed for a search warrant on a residence near the intersection of Ontario and Carlton streets, where they found and seized even more related stolen property.
Richard William Ford, 47, faces eight counts of theft under $5,000 and nine counts of mischief under $5,000.
Jake Walter Fisher, 39, also faces eight counts of theft under $5,000 and nine counts of mischief under $5,000, as well as one additional charge for breaching his probation order.
Both men were held in custody and attended a video bail hearing on Wednesday.
