14 dead in mass shooting in California

14 dead, another 17 injured in yet another mass shooting in the United States, this time in San Bernardino California during a Christmas party for municipal workers.
There are three suspects, two of them were killed in a dramatic shootout with police and a third is in police custody. One of the suspects has been identified as Sayed Farook.
The manhunt has ended violently with a shooting in a suburban neighborhood of San Bernardino.
A horrific scene playing out as police search for a suspect, this after a stand off with police that left one suspect dead and another injured.
You can see a black SUV riddled with bullets, one dead inside, the other on the street nearby.
“We have two suspects that are dead at the scene” said San Bernadino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan “one is a male one is a female. We had one police officer that was wounded he has injuries that are not expected to be life threatening. ”
A third person is under arrest, but it is not clear if they are connected. The two who were killed, had prepared.
“They were dressed in kind of assault style clothing, I think is the best way to term it. They are both armed with assault rifles.”
The focus had shifted to a neighborhood near the scene of a mass shooting where 14 people were killed and 17 more injured. At 11:00 am this morning two shooters entered the conference room at the Inland Regional Centre in San Bernardino, and opened fire on a Christmas party for local municipal workers.
The buildings under attack include about 670 staff members who help people with developmental disabilities. Many had to be evacuated. And then chaos and fear on the streets. Police, fire, and ambulance try to work to address the wounded while searching for the shooters. Outside the facility, people used their phones to keep in touch with loved ones inside.
Reports said the shooters got away in a dark SUV. The entire area was locked down until police received a tip about a house nearby, that is where they found the car.
There is no motive for the attacks so far, and the FBI is not willing to connect this to terrorism at this time. US President Barack Obama shared his thoughts shortly after. “There are some steps we could take not to eliminate every one of these mass shootings, but to improve the odds that they don’t happen as frequently. Common sense gun safety laws, stronger background checks.”
